High-Throughput Microscopy & Whole-Slide Imaging

Design and optimization of high-throughput microscopy and whole-slide imaging systems, including autofocusing, illumination, scanning and acquisition strategies, computational enhancement, and resolution-throughput optimization.

Biophotonics & Biomedical Instrumentation

Development of optical instrumentation for biological and physiological measurements, including fluorescence recording, remote focusing, motion compensation, high-speed imaging, and application-specific system design.

Miniaturized & Fiber-Optic Imaging

Expertise in compact, handheld, and fiber-based imaging architectures for applications constrained by size, access, or form factor, including optical design, computational reconstruction, calibration, and prototype development.

Phase Retrieval, Quantitative & Label-Free Imaging

Development of computational imaging methods for recovering phase, structural, spectral, and biochemical information, including quantitative phase imaging, label-free imaging, and multimodal reconstruction.
